£30,000 - £35,000
Enjoy building client relationships and helping businesses grow? Confident managing SEO accounts and turning performance data into meaningful conversations? Looking for an agency where you can take ownership and progress towards a Senior Account Manager role?
We’re working with an established digital marketing agency in Bristol to find an Account Manager for their friendly, collaborative team. Working across SEO, Paid Media, Content and Web, they help clients improve their digital performance and build lasting partnerships along the way.
You’ll join a down-to-earth team who care about doing good work, support each other and give people the opportunity to develop. There’s plenty of scope to contribute ideas and make an impact as the agency grows.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, building strong relationships and helping clients get the most from their digital marketing. Working alongside a Senior Account Manager and reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for retention, renewals and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
Many of the agency’s clients have SEO at the heart of their strategy, so previous experience managing SEO accounts is essential. You’ll lead performance reviews, explain results clearly and help clients understand how the work connects to their wider business goals. Dedicated channel specialists will handle technical delivery, giving you the space to focus on client relationships, commercial conversations and keeping projects moving.
Day to day, you’ll turn client objectives into clear briefs, coordinate timelines and approvals, and keep account activity organised. You’ll also manage budgets and scope, spot potential issues early and work with the delivery team to develop proposals where additional services would benefit the client.
Skills and Experience
- At least two years’ experience in agency account management across digital marketing channels.
- Experience owning SEO client accounts, with the confidence to explain performance, manage expectations and discuss changes in rankings or traffic.
- A good understanding of Paid Media, Content and Web, and how these channels work together.
- A track record of retaining clients, strengthening relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Confidence discussing budgets, pricing, scope and renewals, including pushing back constructively when needed.
- Strong organisational skills, with experience using tools such as Monday.com, Asana or ClickUp.
- The ability to interpret GA4 and Looker Studio reporting and explain what the results mean for a client’s business.
- Clear communication, a proactive approach and confidence managing multiple accounts.
- Experience with partner or white-label accounts, quarterly business reviews or mentoring junior colleagues would be a bonus.
Benefits
The salary is £30,000–£35,000 depending on experience, alongside a profit-related bonus scheme and a clear route towards Senior Account Manager as the client base grows. You’ll work three days a week in the Bristol office and two from home, with an early finish on Fridays. There’s also a pension scheme, team socials, office dogs, free fruit and snacks, and a relaxed, supportive working environment.
