Cheltenham Hybrid Full time, Permanent

Circa. £28,000

The Role

We are thrilled to be partnering with a luxury travel company in Cheltenham, as they embark on their search for a new SEO Executive. A newly created role to support their digital growth strategy for 2024 and beyond, we’re looking for an all-round SEO who is happy working across technical and on-page SEO and website optimisation.

Working for a prestigious brand that is the epitome of luxury travel and adventure, you will ideally have a passion for global travel and excellent knowledge of the world around us, and be confident conducting keyword research, competitor analysis, and spotting opportunities for improving content and web-page optimisation to improve search rankings. We’re also looking for someone who has an interest in the travel sector, so that you can really get to grips with the tone of voice and the language used in all website copy.

Whilst you’ll be joining an established business, there is a real sense of renaissance with the brand and the direction it’s headed for, and you will be right at the heart of that. Working within a small, friendly team all passionate about travel, you’ll be given plenty of autonomy and room for trialling ideas in a test and learn way.

The core deliverables of your role will be to keep on top of high performing keywords and work closely with the copywriting team to produce relevant, topical content that is constructed to benefit SEO, as well as working with the Digital Marketing Manager to optimise the website, with responsibility for reporting on website performance.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in an all-round SEO role, either from agency or in-house
  • Experience using tools such as Semrush, Moz, and/or Screaming Frog
  • Confident with GA4
  • Interest in travel and good geographical knowledge

There’s a salary on offer here of up to £28k depending on experience, as well as a hybrid working pattern of 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office. There is also plenty of career development potential here, and the opportunity to work in an incredible, highly desired sector.
