The Role

Digital Tonic are working with a fantastic and fast growing agency in the heart of Bath as they look to hire an Account Director for their team. Forming a new pod, you will initially retain some hands-on tactical work, but you will quickly build a team of 4/5 to sit beneath you and deliver across an array of B2B clients. The digital agency works with clients on long term retainers, so you will have the opportunity to see your work through, rather than simply working on short term projects.

You will need to be a great leader with exceptional people management skills, always looking at ways to motivate and get the best results from your team. You’ll have good B2B Marketing Strategy experience, and will be able to effectively communicate these to the clients. This is a varied and fast paced role, one minute you could be leading a strategy workshop, and the next you could be reviewing a content calendar, or even rewriting a newsletter.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing agency and to build your own team. Ideally you’ll have some solid account management experience, have worked with B2B clients at a strategic level, and have recently stepped up to Account Director level. Although the working hours are 9am-6pm, you’ll never work beyond this and late into the night like you will for many other agencies! Skills and Experience

  • Previous account management experience
  • Already operating at an Account Director level
  • Solid B2B strategy experience
  • Happy being hands on as well as able to delegate work
  • Strong people manager
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
