The Role

We’re delighted to be working with a leading British retail brand as they look to grow their eCommerce team. We’re on the lookout for an eCommerce Product Coordinator. This role would be perfect for someone looking for their first role in eCommerce, and would be well suited to those who have an interest in fashion and retail.

Working in the wider eCommerce Merchandising team, you will be responsible for collating and writing new product descriptions and managing the product photography catalogue for the eCommerce site. You’ll look after product pages across all categories, and will ensure accurate pricing, promotion, and product information, paying close attention to SEO principles and best practice. 

Your role will liaise with customer services, warehouse and fulfilment, creative, and marketing, as you will also be involved in reviewing sales and stock figures, and working collaboratively with other teams to ensure that your merchandising efforts reflect the business needs and product demand. You will also support the eCommerce Merchandisers with identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Skills and Experience 

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles is highly desirable
  • High level of initiative and problem solving skills
  • An interest in eCommerce and fashion retail
  • A degree in a related field is desired (e.g. Marketing, Fashion, Buying)
