Devon, Exeter Hybrid Full time, Permanent

Circa. £35,000

The Role

We’re working with an insanely ambitious, premium FMCG brand in Devon, as they embark on their search for an eCommerce  Executive to join the team. This is a company that is continuing to experience record growth due to their strong brand presence, the quality of their products, and unrivalled customer care. Now is a better time than any to join the digital team, and we’re looking for someone who has bags of initiative, ideas, and a genuine interest in always improving their work and making things better.

We’re looking for an experienced eCommerce specialist here, and ideally someone who has worked in a DTC environment. This role goes beyond merchandising products and pricing and promotions. Here, you will play a critical role in the ongoing development of the site, and that’s where your creativity and initiative comes into play. You will be someone who is curious, who can critically evaluate the website and suggest changes, whether that be new category landing pages, detailed information pages, new ways of merchandising products or ranges, and ways to cross-sell and upsell products. You’ll be very data-driven and will utilise data to make recommendations to the wider team. You will be part of a small but very experienced digital team, which means we are looking for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment, and where everyone is looking out for one another. Whilst your role will sit within the digital team, you’ll also be expected to liaise with the marketing, fulfilment, customer service, and other teams where necessary.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment
  • Experience working in FMCG would be a huge advantage
  • Data-driven mindset and a curious attitude
  • Experience managing site-wide merchandising and trading
  • Strong data analysis skills, ideally where you will be familiar with monthly reporting and KPIs
  • Ability to build strong relationships and work in a cross-functional team

Benefits

Depending on experience, there is a salary of up to £35k on offer here, alongside a host of other benefits which include a bonus scheme of up to 10% of salary, product discounts, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, and a hybrid working environment where you will be expected to be in the office at least 1 day per week. The office is based in Devon, with free onsite parking.
