Norfolk Hybrid Contract, Full time

Circa. £40,000

We’re working with a fast-growing premium eCommerce brand to find a Website Merchandiser with extensive Shopify experience, to play a key role in bringing their product offering to life online. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in the detail, enjoys working across systems, and wants to take real ownership of how products are presented, structured, and launched on-site. We are looking for someone who is able to start immediately and can commit to a 9 month maternity cover.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end product setup process, from gathering and validating product information through to ensuring everything is accurately built, optimised, and ready to go live. This includes working closely with Merchandising, Marketing, and QC teams to ensure all product data, from sizing and materials through to pricing and copy, is complete, consistent, and customer-ready. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in improving product performance through data. You’ll be analysing reports and onsite metrics to identify opportunities to improve product discoverability, conversion, and overall customer journey. There’s also a strong systems and structure element to the role. You’ll manage Shopify fields and product data architecture, helping to ensure information is stored correctly and displayed effectively across the site. From planning seasonal launches and promotional activity, to refining product collections and supporting content efficiency through AI and automation, this is a role that sits right at the heart of eCommerce, product data, and digital trading.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience working within Shopify, ideally with hands-on product setup and management
  • Experience managing product data, attributes, and onsite merchandising
  • Confident using tools such as Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and analysis
  • Experience working with metafields, product structures, or PIM systems
  • Data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret performance metrics (CTR, CVR, AOV etc.)
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles for product content
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple product launches simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and proactively chasing information
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a nice bonus
  • Experience using tools like Matrixify, Tagalys, or similar would be advantageous

Benefits

This is a maternity cover role with an immediate start, offering the chance to join a well-established brand in a beautiful countryside office setting. The role is primarily onsite but we can consider those coming from further afield on a more flexible basis depending on your location. If you have the experience needed for this role but you live further away, please do not be discouraged from applying. You’ll receive 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, generous staff discount (including access to heavily discounted products), and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, close-knit team with regular seasonal events.
