Bristol Hybrid Full time, Permanent

Circa. £45,000

The Role

We’re excited to be working with a long-established integrated agency in the heart of Bristol, as they look to appoint a Digital Project Manager to join their busy and close-knit digital development team. This agency boasts an astonishingly high employee retention rate, and that is down to putting its people at the core of everything they do, as well as the continuous career development and investment into staff.

Sitting in the digital projects team, you’ll work closely with the Designer, Developer, Technical Director and a network of reliable freelancers, to oversee the timely and successful completion of website build projects across a multitude of CMS platforms, but quite heavily across the likes of Umbraco and Magento. You will project manage the build of websites across a whole host of industries, and businesses large and small. But ultimately, you will be comfortable looking after large projects of c£300-500k across 9-12 month project lifecycles. You will benefit from a close working relationship with a client services team who will manage client comms, whilst your role will be focused purely on the successful delivery of web build projects.

Your remit will include assisting in the project discovery phase, proposals and resource planning, requirements gathering, ownership of the project management tools, and workflow management. You will also be close to the financial and commercial side of projects, and will have a good understanding of project costing and resource management.

One of the biggest selling points to this role is that it is earmarked to transition into a Head of Project Management role, which will come with a promotion in title, salary, but also you will receive ongoing, bespoke people management training, to enable you to be the best manager you can be.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for an exceptional people-person in this role, who has a strong understanding of website development and project milestones. It’s a given that you will be a strong communicator, organised, and will be incredibly client driven. This agency has amassed such a strong reputation for being inherently driven by client satisfaction, which has meant that they’ve won some impressive, sizable projects over the years.

Other skills we look for include:

  • Strong working knowledge of UX/UI
  • Working knowledge of Trello or ClickUp ideally
  • Ability to write new project proposals
  • Calm and methodical approach to project delivery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Benefits

There is a salary of up to £45k on offer here, depending on your experience. This agency operates a hybrid working model of 3 days a week in the office, and 2 days remote/WFH. There is huge opportunity for progression within this agency, and you will certainly be joining an agency that has an outstanding track record of retaining staff!
