£50,000 - £55,000
We’re working with an innovative, International business that develops highly technical products and solutions for the global industries. They’re now looking to add an experienced Marketing Manager into the team.
This is a business with real energy and ambition. The business is now investing in growth, International expansion and the continued development of its marketing function. The Directors are passionate about building an exceptional business and want marketing to become one of its strongest and most influential departments.
Despite operating within highly technical sectors, the culture is anything but dry. The people are enthusiastic, commercially minded and excited about what they are building, and they want to appoint a Marketing Manager who will bring that same confidence, curiosity and determination.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll take ownership of a broad mix of campaigns, demand generation, digital marketing, events and customer engagement. This is a genuinely varied position that combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, giving you the opportunity to shape activity while remaining close to its execution.
You’ll develop integrated campaigns that support the company’s commercial priorities, generate demand and strengthen engagement throughout a long and complex sales journey. Working closely with Sales, Product and technical specialists, you’ll translate sophisticated engineering products into clear, compelling marketing that demonstrates their value to customers.
Digital will be an important part of your remit. You’ll oversee the website, SEO, paid activity, email marketing, CRM and automation, using the latest tools and technology to improve customer journeys and make marketing increasingly measurable. You’ll analyse campaign performance, identify what is working and turn those insights into practical improvements.
Events are also central to the role with the company attending exhibitions and conferences across the UK and Internationally. You’ll manage the marketing activity surrounding them, from building interest beforehand to maximising customer engagement and commercial follow-up afterwards.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants genuine ownership rather than a narrowly defined marketing role. You’ll be encouraged to introduce ideas, try new approaches and help create a modern, commercially effective marketing function capable of supporting the company’s international growth.
