The Role

Digital Tonic is thrilled to be partnered with a leading brand in the pet health space, as they look for a brand new Website Optimisation Specialist. This is an exciting time to join the company as they continue to grow and expand all areas of the business across Europe. 

As the Website Optimisation Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing the company’s website performance, ensuring an exceptional user experience. You’ll work closely with the optimisation agency, and in collaboration, you will be the driving force behind making data-driven website improvements, which support business metrics and goals. Measures of success will include conversion data, average order value, average items ordered, in addition to your own ideas and suggestions.

You will project management testing programmes, working collaboratively with other areas within the business such as marketing, design, and tech. Your role will be central to the business and as such, we’re looking for a strong communicator who can integrate well into multi-disciplinary teams.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a CRO/analytics role and building and execution A/B and multivariate (MVT) tests
  • An understanding of website technologies such as HTML, CSS, and a variety of CMS platforms e.g. Magento or Shopify Plus 
  • Familiar user of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics (ideally GA4) and Hotjar
  • Experience using Optimizely would be advantageous
  • A background in data science/analytics/economics would be desirable
  • Prior experience in segmentation and personalisation is also highly sought after
