The Role
Digital Tonic are thrilled to be working with a beautiful and design-led homewares brand as they look to hire a Social Media & PR Executive on a 9-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate team and play a key role in shaping how the brand connects with its audience across both digital and traditional channels.
You’ll need strong communication skills as you liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, such as the PR agency, and as well as the buying and merchandising team. The social media content calendar is already in place, but you’ll support the execution of social content across key channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest and even LinkedIn. You’ll work with the creative team to develop assets, will utilise Canva, and will even support on photoshoots.
You’ll be responsible for managing the press email account, dealing with inbound press enquiries, corresponding with influencers, and brand partnership opportunities.
There’s a requirement to be in the From office twice a week, with the rest of the time spent working from home. You’ll need a driving license to get to the office, and also to various photoshoot locations when required.
You’ll be a creative self-starter with a flair for content and a genuine love for interiors. It’s a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys crafting compelling campaigns and telling brand stories in fresh and engaging ways.
Skills and Experience
- 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing or PR role
- Good experience across social platforms
- Confident copywriter with a good grasp of brand tone of voice
- Hands-on experience using social scheduling tools
- A creative thinker with a passion for interiors
- Confident in managing influencer and press relationships
- Comfortable reporting on campaign performance and using Google Analytics
