Remote Full time, Permanent

Circa. £74,000

The Role

Are you a seasoned Product Manager with extensive Shopify experience? Would you like to join an organisation with a global footprint? Then we’d love to hear from you. We’re working with an international retail group in the B2B and B2C space, as they look to recruit a Shopify expert to manage the digital product roadmap across the European territories.

This organisation has historically been B2B focused, but over recent years they have expanded their DTC channel, with a huge presence in the America, Europe and APAC regions. They have huge growth plans, but in order to achieve those, they recognise that the online customer experience is critical. This is where you come in.

With your expert understanding of Shopify, you will support the entire Europe and APAC regions, in defining a robust product strategy, which will involve designing product features and requirements, and leading on user testing programmes, and drawing insight from data in order to continually iterate. It’s essential that you have significant knowledge and experience working with Shopify, as you will be the company-wide go-to for website improvements and testing. We need someone who understands the constraints of Shopify, its boundaries, as well as a thorough understanding of Shopify Apps and Themes, and previous experience with Shopify integrations. You will work very closely with the eCommerce team to continuously improve the website from a user experience perspective, and so you will be called on to advise on specific Shopify requests, and will need to have the understanding to determine what is and what is not possible within the platform.

It’s a given that this role needs someone with excellent communication skills. This is a role where you will work closely with a number of teams, across a number of territories and time zones. You will work closely with the US team, and will report to a US based manager, but will also be accountable to the UK eCommerce team, as well as the EU and APAC territory teams. You’ll also work closely with the in-house development team.

This is an exciting role for those who enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, and would be well-suited to someone who has prior experience in an international organisation. You will be required to have internal calls across different time zones, and so we would require flexibility around working hours from time to time.

Skills and Experience

  • Significant, and demonstrable experience with Shopify
  • A degree in Computer Science, Marketing or related subject
  • Prior experience in a Digital Product Manager role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • International experience is desirable
  • Extensive understanding of Shopify Apps, Themes, and integrations (including ERP solutions and email)
  • Strong data analysis skills

Benefits

Depending on experience, there’s a salary of up to £74k on offer here, as well as other benefits which can be discussed on application. The role is also fully-remote with the requirement to attend the offices in Somerset once per month.

Sound good?

If this is just the type of role you’re after, please contact Stacey@digital-tonic.co for more information. Please note, if you do not have Shopify experience, your application will be automatically rejected.
