Bristol Hybrid Permanent

£28,000 - £33,000

The Role

This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1–2 years’ experience in IT, digital support, or product. You’ll be the first line of defence for the product team, handling incoming queries, triaging bugs, and helping people across the business understand how systems work — whether that’s on the frontend, backend, or through the API that powers everything behind the scenes.

Day to day, you’ll be responding to queries, explaining how the system works, and guiding people towards the right solutions. Sometimes you’ll resolve things yourself; other times you’ll log and escalate issues to developers, making sure they’re accurately captured and prioritised. You’ll also keep stakeholders updated, maintain system data and configuration, support QA by testing fixes and new features, and help keep documentation up to date.

Alongside this, you’ll help keep documentation up to date, manage onboarding tasks for new starters, and provide first-line IT support on routine access or application issues. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across product, IT, and the wider business to keep communication clear and expectations managed.

This is a role where you’ll quickly become the face of the product team and gain hands-on exposure to product management, QA, and IT operations. Most people in this role progress into Junior Product Owner positions, with opportunities also available to move into QA if you prefer a more testing-focused route.

Skills and Experience

  • Recently graduated with a relevant degree i.e. Computer Science, IT or Digital – or have up to 1–2 years of professional experience
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical things in a clear and approachable way
  • Self motivated and enjoys problem solving to find logical solutions
  • Is curious, motivated, and willing to get to grips with complex systems like APIs, backends, and ERPs
  • Is organised, detail-focused, and comfortable handling multiple queries at once
  • It’s a bonus (but not essential) if you’ve used tools like Jira, Zendesk, or Slack, or if you’ve had any exposure to ecommerce, ERP systems, or QA/testing.

Benefits

There’s a good salary on offer (£28,000–£33,000 ), you’ll be joining a fast-growing team at an exciting time, with huge opportunities to shape your career. Progression happens quickly, and there’s real scope to carve out your own path. The role will be fairly office based to start with, then will progress to one or two days from home once you’re bedded in.
