Crawley, Sussex On-site Full time, Permanent

£28,000 - £40,000

Are you a PPC specialist looking to take ownership of high-performing Google Ads campaigns? We’re searching for an eCommerce oriented Paid Media Specialist, to join a growing digital team and lead the optimisation and scaling of paid search activity across multiple eCommerce brands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, managing significant ad spend across Google Shopping, Performance Max, and Search, with a clear focus on driving revenue and profitability. If you have experience driving ROI across Meta Ads, that would be a huge advantage but not essential.

The Role

As the eCommerce Paid Media Specialist, you’ll be the driving force behind the planning, management and optimisation of multiple Google Ads accounts. Your day-to-day will see you building out campaigns across Shopping, Performance Max, and Search, continually refining them to boost conversions, increase revenue, and deliver strong returns. You’ll take full ownership of campaign performance, from keyword research and competitor analysis through to testing new formats, ad copy and bidding strategies.

A key part of your role will be overseeing product feeds in Google Merchant Centre, ensuring they’re accurate, compliant and optimised for success. You’ll also be hands-on with conversion tracking and attribution models, making sure every click is accounted for and performance data can guide your next move. With a strong analytical mindset, you’ll dig into campaign results, spot trends and opportunities, and translate them into clear recommendations that drive growth.

Collaboration is also central to this role, as you’ll work closely with SEO and content teams to ensure PPC activity complements broader marketing efforts, and you’ll keep a close eye on the latest Google Ads updates and eCommerce trends so that the strategy always stays ahead of the curve. This isn’t just about managing campaigns; it’s about shaping the paid search strategy and becoming a go-to expert within the business.

Skills and Experience

  • 2-3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally from an eCommerce environment
  • Expertise across Google Shopping, Performance Max, and Search campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of conversion tracking, attribution models, and bidding strategies
  • Experience with Google Merchant Centre and product feed management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance data

Benefits

Depending on your level of experience, there’s a broad salary range here of £28-40k. On the lower end of this, you will likely have 12-18 months’ experience in a paid media focused role. To achieve the maximum, you will have 3+ years’ experience, where you are comfortable independently managing paid media outputs and budgets to a high-level, within an eCommerce business. You’ll be joining a business that values its people and provides an environment where you can grow. Expect a relaxed workplace with a casual dress code, alongside a strong benefits package that includes a company pension scheme, employee and store discounts, and free on-site parking to make commuting simple. There’s also the chance to get involved in company events and enjoy an annual discretionary bonus. Just as importantly, you’ll have genuine opportunities to develop your skills, progress your career, and play a key role in the growth of a fast-moving digital team.
