We are excited to be exclusively supporting a growing financial services brand in central Bristol as they look for a Paid Media Manager. This is a newly created role due to significant investment into the digital landscape. If you’re an established paid media marketer who is both strategic and hands-on, and you get huge satisfaction in building things from the ground up, then please read on….As the Paid Media Manager, your responsibility will be the ownership of the paid acquisition strategy and execution across search and social platforms, with the core goal of driving leads.
The Role
As Paid Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, building, and managing paid campaigns from the ground up across both search and social channels. This is a newly created role, giving you the opportunity to shape paid media strategy across multiple brands and directly influence business growth. You’ll take a hands-on approach, from campaign creation and audience targeting to ongoing optimisation and reporting, ensuring that leads generated are both cost-effective and high quality for the sales teams to convert. You’ll also collaborate closely with the SEO Manager to ensure paid and organic strategies are aligned and delivering against shared goals. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious marketer who’s passionate about lead generation and wants to make a real impact within a growing, fast-moving group environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and manage paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other relevant platforms for multiple brands
- Set up new accounts, conversion tracking, and reporting dashboards from scratch
- Develop a lead generation strategy focused on driving quality traffic and maximising conversion rates.
- Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise campaigns to improve CPL, CPA, and overall ROI.
- Collaborate with the sales teams to understand lead quality and adjust campaign targeting accordingly.
- Work alongside the SEO Manager to align paid and organic strategies and share insight across channels
- Manage budgets efficiently across multiple brands and ensure spend aligns with business goals.
- Keep up to date with best practices, platform changes, and emerging paid media trends within the financial and insurance space
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing paid media campaigns in a lead generation environment (essential).
- Strong background in Google Ads and Meta Ads, with experience setting up accounts and campaigns from scratch.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed, results-driven decisions.
- Experience optimising towards lead quality and ROI rather than volume alone.
- Comfortable managing multiple brands and priorities simultaneously.
- Previous experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries is desirable but not essential.
- Confident communicator who can work collaboratively across marketing and sales Functions.
Benefits
Depending on your level of experience, there is a salary on offer here of up to £55k. You’ll be required to come into the office in central Bristol on a hybrid basis that is fairly relaxed and unstructured.
