The Role

Are you a seasoned paid media specialist looking for a juicy senior role to get your teeth into? Look no further! We’re working with a long-standing Bristol agency as they look to recruit a Head of Paid Media to join the team. This is a role for those who have an established track record in paid media, with strong management and leadership skills to lead a small team. 

Sitting in the senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the direction and strategy of the paid media function within this agency, and will fly the flag for best practice paid media, inspiring your team and creating a strong space for them to develop. You’ll be visible to clients, and will always be looking at ways to upskill the paid media team, unlock new opportunities, and be heavily involved in pitching and new business opportunities.

You will ideally have holistic knowledge and experience of paid search (Google, Bing), paid social (Meta, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest and snapchat) with programmatic and display experience being advantageous. You’ll be working on some beautiful B2C accounts, and if you have any grants experience, that would be fantastic, as some of your clients will be in the not for profit sector. 

This role would be perfect for someone who has spent most of their career working in a digital agency, where you feel that now is the right time to step into that leadership position. 

Skills and Experience

  • Significant experience in a senior paid media capacity, agency-side
  • Strong client-facing skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Strong hands-on knowledge across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • New business/pitching experience would be advantageous


Depending on your experience, there’s a salary on offer here of up to £60k. The standard working pattern would ideally be 3 days a week in the office, 2 remote, and there’s a whole host of employee benefits which can be discussed on enquiry.
