The Role
We’re working with a fast-growing, multi-channel retail business who are on a mission to scale their online performance, but they need an experienced eCommerce Manager to help make that happen! If you’re passionate about developing customer journeys and the online user experience within an eCommerce business, then we need to hear from you!
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll lead the development and performance of the eCommerce channel, but will also support the digital marketing/acquisition channels. You’ll be responsible for optimising every aspect of the online customer journey, as well as supporting the Head of Marketing and eCommerce Executive in driving traffic to the website in order to convert.
You’ll manage day-to-day trading, oversee promotional activity, and deliver a roadmap of site improvements to boost UX, CRO and personalisation. There’s a strong focus on data too as you’ll be responsible for interpreting eCommerce analytics, producing actionable insights, and working closely with internal teams to drive growth and hit ambitious targets. You’ll also have one direct report to manage and develop. You’ll need to be passionate about ecommerce, commercially minded, and excited about the potential of new technologies including AI.
Skills and Experience
- You’ll need at least 3 years’ experience managing an eCommerce website in a multi-channel retail environment.
- A strong understanding of CRO, UX and onsite optimisation
- Experience managing content, pricing and promotional updates across eCommerce platforms
- Solid grasp of eCommerce analytics and reporting, with confidence in Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools
- Passion for eCommerce trends and a curiosity about AI and how it can improve the customer journey
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive attitude

This is non-negotiable so please only apply if you are happy to work in the office in Dorchester 5 days a week.
