The Role
We’re on the lookout for an experienced eCommerce Manager to join a successful retail brand, where you’ll take on ownership of the website’s performance. You’ll play a pivotal role in optimising the online shopping experience, ensuring the site is engaging, user-friendly, and driving sales. Working closely with external tech providers and developers, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the website’s functionality and user experience.
Day to day, you will oversee the website’s performance, identifying and resolving any front-end issues while enhancing the user journey. Managing website content and ensuring it aligns with brand guidelines will be a key focus. You’ll work alongside the merchandising team to maintain accurate product listings, update categories, and ensure product discovery is seamless for customers.
You will also take ownership of product recommendations and content updates, ensuring the website remains fresh and engaging. Collaborating with third-party providers, you’ll project manage ongoing development work and new tech implementations. Your analytical mindset will come into play as you conduct A/B testing and user research to gather insights, driving further UX and UI improvements that enhance conversion rates.
Additionally, you’ll act as the main point of contact for any data connection issues, working closely with integration partners to resolve them efficiently. Producing detailed reports on performance and providing actionable recommendations will be key to measuring success.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing eCommerce platforms, ideally Magento.
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and content management systems.
- Solid project management skills with experience leading development projects.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using analytics tools to drive insights.
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.
Benefits
Depending on experience, there’s a salary on offer here of up to £45k, plus a hybrid working pattern of 3 days a week in the office and 2 days remote/WFH. Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and additional days off for birthdays and length of service.
