The Role

Digital Tonic are thrilled to be working with an exceptional charity in Bath as they look to hire a Digital Marketing Manager for their team. This role offers a lot of flexibility with hybrid working, ideally you’ll get to the office once a week, but there are remote opportunities for candidates from further afield.

This role has bags of variety as you will be planning and devising the digital strategy, and executing the plan through digital channels such as the website, social media, email, SEO, PPC, content etc. You’ll manage a team of Digital Marketing Execs to deliver your campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive donations and generate much needed income for this great cause.

You’ll be responsible for understanding and developing the user journey, advising on user experience, and managing all of the content. You’ll need to be comfortable analysing data, seeing trends, and developing future campaigns that deliver results.
There is a larger supporting team made up of the Marketing Communications team, Website Manager, CRM Manager, Individual Giving and Fundraising team. This is an incredible opportunity to make a genuine difference with an exceptional charity, and you’ll have the resources needed to succeed within the role.

Skills and Experience

  • Experienced digital marketer with a broad range of knowledge
  • Previous experience developing and implementing digital marketing strategies and plans
  • Some previous line management experience
  • Strong experience with website management
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Ideally holding a relevant degree or professional qualification i.e. CIM


There’s a good salary on offer (circa £40k), hybrid working, holiday starts at 25 days increasing to 30 days, office Christmas shut down, enhanced parental leave and generous pension contributions. On top of all of this you’ll be helping an amazing charity shout about the good work that they do.
