The Role

Are you a social media and content whizz who just loves working with consumer brands? Do you have a knack for reels and capturing beautiful photos? At Digital Tonic, we’ve partnered with a very established UK retail brand as they look to hire a Digital Marketing Executive. 

If you are very creative and consider yourself to be up to date with all of the latest Instagram and TikTok trends, and can generate consistently high engagement across social platforms, we’d love to hear from you. Working in a European marketing team, you will be responsible for coming up with exciting new content ideas and executing these across Instagram and TikTok, whilst also working closely with the creative team to ensure that in-store product launches and activations are in-line with the social strategy. 

We’re looking for a social media native who has professional work experience managing social channels for a large brand, or a collection of brands perhaps in an agency setting. You will be up to date with all of the latest social trends, as well as any algorithm updates or changes which could impact on engagement rate and reach. You will be taking responsibility for the social media channels of a very well-known, and fun consumer brand, and therefore we would love someone who has experience bringing consumer brands to life, and getting your audience excited and engaged. We’re also looking for someone who isn’t afraid to experiment with new ideas. In this role you will be able to channel all of that creative energy and more. 

From a design point of view, you will be very hands-on in creating video content and imagery, and therefore we are looking for someone with video editing and Photoshop skills.

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrable social media knowledge in a professional capacity.
  • B2C social media experience.
  • Video editing and Photoshop skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram and TikTok.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Creative flair and an eye for detail.
  • Interest in consumer brands.


Salary wise, we’re looking at up to £35k depending on experience. This is an amazing opportunity to join a global brand with endless progression opportunities. You’ll be working on such a fun and popular brand with so much opportunity to let your creative juices flow. The working pattern here is 2-3 days a week in the office in Bedford and 2-3 days remote.
