The Role

Digital Tonic are working with an innovative business within the Life Sciences sector to help them hire a Digital Content Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing B2B company at an exciting time as they demonstrate strong international performance.

In this newly created role, you’ll take ownership of the company’s social media presence, building a content calendar and driving engagement across key platforms. You’ll be creating, editing, and posting content, ensuring everything meets regulatory requirements. There’s a strong focus on content planning over reactive posting, so you’ll need to be highly organised and strategic in your approach.

You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of content projects — from social media and website content, to capturing material at global events, to supporting with video production and some editing. With new websites recently launched and more on the way, this is an exciting time to join a business investing heavily in its digital brand presence.

The role is based in Penarth, South Wales, with a requirement to be in the office around three to four days a week. There’s home working every Friday and flexibility when required, and international travel will be part of the role, with quarterly trips to the US and Germany.
This is a great opportunity for a creative and organised Content Creator or Social Media Executive looking to build their career within a business making a real impact in healthcare innovation.

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in a social media or digital content role
• Confident creating and scheduling social content, and reporting on performance
• Comfortable or will to work within a regulated or manufacturing environment
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or another graphics package
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, especially when working within compliance frameworks
• Ability to travel internationally on up to a quarterly basis
• Interest in AI and innovation would be beneficial
