The Role
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a fast-growing, award-winning tech business that’s genuinely transforming how technology is used in the education space. As the Marketing Automation Manager, you’ll take full ownership of lifecycle marketing and automation strategy, leading how the business engages, nurtures and converts both prospects and customers across multiple international markets.
Sitting centrally to the marketing, data and technology teams, this role is all about building smart, scalable automation that drives meaningful commercial impact. You’ll own the HubSpot ecosystem, shaping everything from segmentation and scoring models through to complex automated journeys across the full customer lifecycle. You’ll also be responsible for designing and optimising end-to-end journeys across onboarding, engagement, retention and upsell, ensuring each touchpoint is data-led, personalised and aligned to business goals. Alongside this, you’ll build and refine lead nurture programmes, working closely with the sales function to improve pipeline quality and conversion from MQL through to SQL.
A big part of this role will involve digging into the data – analysing performance, identifying trends and continuously testing and refining journeys to improve engagement, retention and revenue. You’ll also play a key role in supporting wider campaign execution, enabling the marketing team to deliver highly targeted, automated campaigns that are measurable and scalable.
From a technical perspective, you’ll act as the go-to expert for HubSpot, owning the automation architecture, improving CRM structure and ensuring integrations are working seamlessly. You’ll also introduce best practices, improve processes and support internal stakeholders through training and documentation.
It’s a role that combines strategy with hands-on execution, perfect for someone who enjoys building things properly, spotting opportunities in data, and making automation a true growth driver for the business.
