The Role
We’re working with a successful, growing digital agency in the heart of Bristol, as they look to take on a Digital Strategist on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for those specialising in search marketing (SEO & PPC) to take on a varied role which will see you responsible for managing a small delivery team, overseeing the strategy across all agency clients, and working closely with the Client Success Lead to ensure clients are getting the best results, as well as elements of project management. This role would be incredibly well-suited to someone currently working agency-side, who is looking to step into a more operations focused, leadership position.
Working closely with the Director, you will be the strategic lead for clients across SEO, PPC, and to a lesser extent – social and content. It’s important in this role that you have a strong understanding across paid and organic search, so that you can jump into the delivery side of things from time to time to support the delivery team, but also to ensure they are working to best practices.
On the more operational side of things, we’d love someone who can help streamline processes and procedures, and start bringing this into the team to encourage high standards of working and consistency across delivery.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a digital marketing oriented role, with a key focus on SEO and PPC
- Management/team leader experience and a desire to manage others
- Strong knowledge of the wider digital channels such as social, content, web, and UX and CRO
- Excellent client facing skills
- Proven track record of developing digital marketing strategies
- Strong organisational skills
Benefits
There’s a competitive salary on offer of up to £45k depending on experience, with a hybrid working pattern of 2-3 days in the office per week, and the rest remote.
