London Hybrid Full time, Permanent

Circa. £45,000

The Role

We’re partnering with a fast-growing, award-winning EdTech group that sits at the intersection of education, marketplaces and performance marketing. They’re scaling quickly, operate across multiple brands, and run some genuinely complex funnels where demand, supply and seasonality all matter.

They’re now looking for a PPC Executive/Specialist to take real ownership of paid search and help turn it into an even bigger growth engine for the business.

This isn’t a “keep things ticking over” role. You’ll be hands-on in the accounts, reshaping structures, testing new approaches, and using data to drive smarter decisions across Google Ads (and ideally Microsoft Ads too). You’ll work closely with the PPC Manager and the wider marketing, product and operations teams, with clear commercial impact and visibility.

In practice, you’ll take ownership of paid search across multiple brands and markets, spending most of your time developing, restructuring and scaling campaigns across Search, PMax and newer formats. You’ll manage budgets, bids and performance against clear growth and ROI targets, while building smarter account structures, keyword strategies and negative frameworks. You’ll think beyond just keywords and ads, looking at the full funnel from lead through to booking and revenue, and planning activity around academic seasonality and demand spikes rather than just month-to-month performance. You’ll create and use remarketing audiences across different stages of the journey, run ongoing tests across ads and landing pages to improve conversion and efficiency, and produce clear, commercial performance insights by subject, level, region and funnel stage.

Alongside this, you’ll work closely with marketing, product and operations to make sure PPC activity lines up with business priorities, build and maintain dashboards (ideally in Looker Studio), and stay on top of platform changes, automation, AI tools and new paid search opportunities.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in PPC, either in-house or agency side
  • Comfortable managing larger, more complex accounts (ideally £25k+ per month)
  • Strong with data and confident turning numbers into decisions and actions
  • Good understanding of search intent, landing pages and multi-step funnels
  • Experience working in seasonal or demand-led environments
  • Confident working with different teams and stakeholders
  • Happy in fast-moving businesses where the data isn’t always perfect
  • Naturally curious and commercially minded — you like testing, learning and improving
  • Experience with Looker Studio is a big plus
  • Degree (2:1 or equivalent)

Benefits

Depending on your level of experience, there is a salary up to £45,000 on offer. This company operates a hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office and 2 WFH/remote. You’ll get 23 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays, a free onsite gym, regular team socials, and regular team PT sessions on offer.
