Gloucestershire Hybrid Full time, Permanent

£50,000 - £55,000

Are you an experienced eCommerce leader with deep Shopify expertise and a passion for driving digital growth? We’re on the lookout for a technically minded eCommerce Manager to take ownership of a thriving online store, leading platform migrations, optimising customer journeys, and ensuring every click converts.

The Role

This is a high-impact role where you’ll be the driving force behind the brand’s online performance. You’ll own the day-to-day management and strategic development of the Shopify site, ensuring it delivers a seamless, high-performing, and visually engaging customer experience. From optimising site speed and conversion rates to overseeing platform migrations and new integrations, you’ll be at the centre of all things eCommerce.

Working closely with internal teams across marketing, operations, design, and IT, you’ll make sure every campaign, product launch, and promotion runs flawlessly online. You’ll use data to understand user behaviour and identify opportunities for growth, turning insights into tangible actions that enhance performance and boost revenue. You’ll also champion best practices across UX/UI and CRO, ensuring the website not only looks great but performs brilliantly across every device.

Beyond the technical side, you’ll lead and support a small but talented team, helping them to develop their skills while ensuring collaboration across departments. You’ll also work with external partners and developers to deliver projects on time and on budget, managing priorities to keep the digital roadmap on track.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s both strategic and hands-on. If you’re someone who loves getting into the detail of analytics and user journeys while keeping sight of the bigger commercial picture, then this would be your type of role.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Shopify stores and ecommerce operations
  • Proven success leading platform migrations or complex technical integrations
  • A strong understanding of UX/UI and conversion rate optimisation
  • Experience using analytics tools to track performance and inform strategy
  • Confident stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and a customer-first mindset

Benefits

Depending on your level of experience, there’s a salary on offer of £50-55k, plus a performance-based bonus. Alongside this, you’ll be entitled to 25 days’ holiday plus Bank Holidays, enhanced parental leave, and generous staff discounts. The company also offers two paid volunteering days each year, an Employee Assistance Programme, and a Friends & Family Referral Scheme. You’ll be joining a close-knit, fast-growing team where your ideas will be valued and your contribution truly makes an impact. You will be required to work in the office 3 days a week. Please only apply for this role if you are able to get to Gloucester 3 days per week.
