The Role
We’re thrilled to be working exclusively with Diaquip, a family owned business with over 27 years of experience and a market leading reputation in diamond wire cutting technology. Headquartered in the UK, Diaquip dominates its home market and is now expanding rapidly across the United States, where they’ve already established impressive sales. Their flagship product is regarded as the strongest and most reliable cutting wire in the industry, trusted for projects as tough as dismantling submarines and cutting wind turbines.
This is a rare chance for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to build the marketing function and put your own stamp on it. One of the key objectives behind the role is to win new business across the United States through smart demand generation, sharp positioning, and campaigns that convert. You’ll also run marketing for the UK to protect and grow the home market, keeping brand and messaging consistent while the growth engine points firmly at the US.
Some of your key objectives will be to build the lead generation engine, implement marketing automation and reporting, develop compelling content and sales collateral, and partner with web developers on creating and developing new US and UK websites. This is both strategic and hands on, with clear targets and a direct line of sight from marketing activity to pipeline and revenue. You’ll be working side by side with the leadership and sales teams to make sure marketing isn’t just a support function but a core driver of growth.
As success builds, you’ll also have the opportunity to hire and develop a small team around you, creating a marketing function in your own vision. Alongside this, there is a fantastic chance to grow a strong brand identity around Diaquip’s flagship product, which already enjoys a strong reputation in the industry, giving you a unique platform to work from and elevate even further.
Skills and Experience
- Proven B2B marketer with a track record in demand generation and delivering marketing qualified leads
- Ideally some International marketing experience, especially across the US, or can demonstrate an ability to learn and adapt to this market
- Confident designing and executing multichannel integrated campaigns across web, email, social, content, SEO, and search, with a focus on quality of leads and return on investment
- Strong content creator who can turn technical subjects into clear, commercial stories that build trust and support the sales cycle
- Digital all rounder, email, social, SEO, website optimisation, analytics, comfortable managing agencies and tools where needed
- Data driven mindset, able to measure what matters, report clearly, and improve performance over time
- Creative marketer with the ability to design and produce compelling sales collateral that supports the sales team and helps convert opportunities into revenue
- Collaborative and commercially aware, works closely with the Directors and sales team, and understands target personas and customer profiles
- Highly organised, self motivated, thrives in a small, entrepreneurial and fast paced environment
