The Role
We’re excited to be working with a non-profit organisation close to Dorchester, to help them find their new Assistant Digital Marketing Manager. This is a fantastic time to join this organisation as their eCommerce channel goes from strength to strength. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving the digital acquisition strategy to enhance the online presence and attract new website visitors. You’ll lead the digital promotion of the brand, including overseeing its award-winning online shop, and implementing effective advertising campaigns across paid search, social and shopping platforms. This role would be well-suited to someone whose skills are dominant in paid media, but you’re keen to widen your remit into a digital role.
In your role as Assistant Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the paid media budget, and the allocation of spend across all major paid advertising channels such as Google Ads, Meta, and Performance Max/Google Shopping. Your campaigns will be designed to drive visitors to the website to make a purchase, but also in building campaigns to attract new members/visitors. We’re looking for someone who has ideally worked within an eCommerce/online retail environment. Alongside your day to day role, you will manage a Marketing Apprentice.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience executing digital advertising campaigns using Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads (search and shopping/performance max).
- Experience driving new customer acquisition for an eCommerce/online retail brand
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience with email marketing is desirable but not essential

There is a competitive salary of c.£35k on offer here, as well as a whole host of other benefits such as hybrid working. This company is flexible with regards to days a week in the office, where you can work between 2 and 5 days a week in the office.
