The Role
We’re thrilled to be working with a successful and long-standing digital agency in the heart of Leeds, as they look to recruit their next Head of Paid Search. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced paid media marketer to work for a respected, employee-owned business. This role is perfect for someone looking to take their next step into a leadership role. In this role, you’ll be managing a large team and so we’re looking for someone with previous experience in managing.
As the Head of Paid Search, you’ll be working closely with the Organic Search Lead, where together you will look after a 20 strong team, ensuring excellent delivery of paid media campaigns for a range of clients, many of whom are in the travel and property sectors. As the most senior paid media marketer, you will have extensive knowledge across most ad platforms, especially Google Ads, Google Shopping and Performance Max, Microsoft Ads and Meta. You’ll have worked primarily agency-side and will be an excellent Account Director as well as team leader, as you will be required to oversee the performance of Execs but also the success of top tier accounts within the agency.
Your day to day responsibilities will be varied, but will include daily management of the team and supporting with campaign delivery, monitoring performance of top tier accounts, leading on client strategies, and helping to convert new clients.
Skills and Experience
- Strong track record as a senior paid marketer, with team management experience
- Excellent understanding of all ad platforms
- Good understanding of SEO principles to support the wider team
- Significant experience working agency-side
- Strong client management skills
Benefits
There is a competitive salary on offer here of up to £60k depending on experience, as well as a tax-free annual bonus, and 29 days’ annual leave, as well as a hybrid working pattern (3 days a week in the office, 2 remote). There will be a requirement to be in the office 5 days a week during the probation period.
