Bristol Hybrid Full time

£28,000 - £36,000

Do you live and breathe social? Are you constantly thinking about what’s trending, what’s working, and why some content just hits while other content falls flat?

We’re working with a fun and highly creative digital agency to find a Social Media Specialist who loves social media, is confident working directly with clients, and excited to create content that genuinely connects. This is a role with huge creative freedom, a broad range of clients, and the chance to work on everything from TikTok-first content to live client events.  You don’t need agency experience but we do need someone who’s sparky and confident, who can’t wait to get involved.  You’ll also need to be super organised and great with time management to manage social content across a number of super varied accounts.

The Role

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be responsible for planning, creating, and optimising organic social content across multiple platforms — with TikTok at the heart of everything. You’ll work across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and Snapchat too, tailoring content to each channel and audience.

You’ll build and manage content calendars, analyse performance, and use insights to continuously refine what you’re doing — digging into what’s working, what isn’t, and how to push results further. You’ll bring a strong creative eye, knowing instinctively what looks good, what feels on-brand, and what will stop the scroll.

Video plays a big role here. You don’t need to be an expert behind the camera (there’s a dedicated production team), but you should be comfortable working with video content, shaping ideas, editing where needed, and understanding what performs on platforms like TikTok and Reels.

You’ll also be highly people-facing. That means confident client communication, leading meetings, collaborating with internal teams, and getting stuck into content creation at client events — whether that’s interviews, tastings for food brands, behind-the-scenes shoots, or campaign launches.

Influencer outreach and collaboration would be a big plus in this role, from identifying the right creators to managing relationships and coordinating content outputs.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Genuinely loves social media and keeps up with trends, formats, and platform changes
  • Has strong experience creating and managing organic social content (agency or in-house)
  • Is confident and sparky – happy chatting to clients and leading conversations
  • Is analytically minded and enjoys exploring performance data to drive improvement
  • Has a great creative eye and can create content using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Is comfortable working with video content (editing, shaping ideas, platform-first thinking)
  • Is excited by live content creation at events and on location
  • Has experience with influencer outreach or creator collaborations (a big plus)
  • Is organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment

Benefits

You’ll be joining a genuinely collaborative, creative agency with a brilliant culture and a strong social scene. The team works with a wide variety of clients across different sectors, giving you constant variety and loads of creative freedom. There’s flexibility around hybrid working, plenty of opportunities to learn from specialists across the business, and real scope to grow as the role evolves.

This is the kind of role where you can truly make your mark and is a dream come true for the right person.

Sound Good?
