The Role

We are excited to be working with a long standing client of ours as they look to recruit for their bustling Cheltenham offices. The team is currently looking for an Account Executive, so if you’re a recent graduate with interests in both politics and communications I’d love to hear from you. 

This role will focus across some exciting projects, including those within renewables and sustainable developments. It will involve a lot of stakeholder management, so you must be comfortable with communicating with lots of different people and be able to understand and digest relative briefs.

You will get the opportunity to liaise with a number of people within both the local and national Government, so you must display a strong interest in current political affairs. The main bulk of your responsibilities will be producing a number of different content pieces, including engaging communications and PR pieces.

This is a hybrid role in Cheltenham, 3 days per week. If you have prior experience working within an office environment this would be beneficial.

Skills and Experience 

• Strong interest in politics and political journalism 
• Previous experience working in communications or in an office environment is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
• A degree within politics, journalism or communications is desirable

This role is 3 days a week in Cheltenham, with a good starting salary of £23k-£25k. Alongside this you’ll get a good holiday allowance, a training and progression program and a supportive team to work closely with.
