The Role
This is a true Paid Social ownership role for a senior individual contributor.
As Paid Social Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for performance across Meta, TikTok and emerging platforms, managing significant budgets and genuine commercial risk. You’ll plan, execute, test, optimise and scale campaigns with autonomy – and be expected to explain decisions clearly using data, not noise.
There’s no line management here. This role is for someone who wants to stay hands-on with platforms, performance and creative – and who enjoys being accountable for results rather than managing people.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Paid Media and collaborate with SEO, Content, Design and wider commercial teams to continually refine strategy, creative and performance.
The role is fully office-based in central Cardiff, five days per week, with flexitime between 6am and 8pm and no core hours.
Skills and Experience
• Strong experience in performance-led paid media environments (c.5+ years)
• 2 – 3 years operating at a senior level with autonomy and accountability
• Proven ownership of paid social performance across Meta and/or TikTok
• Experience managing and scaling meaningful paid social budgets
• Structured, disciplined approach to testing, optimisation and insight
• Ability to plan and iterate paid social creative across static and video formats
• Confidence diagnosing performance changes and explaining decisions to stakeholders
• Calm, commercially minded and evidence-led under pressure
• Clear communicator who works well with non-technical teams
