£36,000 - £40,000
We’re working exclusively with a well known hospitality destination in Gloucestershire that has become one of the area’s most talked about social and events spaces.
This isn’t a quiet bar with the occasional live act. It’s a high energy, multi faceted venue combining food, drink, large scale events and community experiences, regularly welcoming huge crowds. They’re now looking for a Marketing Manager who’s passionate about food and drink, and wants to be at the centre of it all.
The Role
This is a hands on, content led and commercially focused marketing role within a fast moving hospitality environment. You will take ownership of multichannel campaigns that drive footfall, ticket sales and venue awareness, while capturing the energy of what is happening on site.
You will plan and deliver digital campaigns across events, food partnerships, retail activity and key seasonal moments. This is not a heavily layered corporate structure, it is a reactive culture where ideas move quickly and opportunities need to be executed at pace. You will manage and grow social channels, ensuring the brand shows up in a way that feels current, engaging and true to its audience.
A key part of the role is creating and capturing content yourself. You will attend events, including occasional evenings and weekends, filming and producing short form video content that can be edited quickly using tools such as CapCut, and pushed live while the energy is still there. In return, you will receive time off in lieu, but this is a role for someone who thrives in a lively environment rather than someone looking for a traditional 9 to 5.
You will also manage email campaigns that already receive high open rates and engagement, you’ll upload and manage campaign content the website, and you’ll report on performance with clear insight into what is driving sales and revenue. Heavier design work can be supported externally, but you must be confident creating social first content yourself and taking ownership of digital output day to day.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to work in lively hospitality or events and understands how to sell an experience, not just a product.
Skills and Experience
- Experience running multichannel digital campaigns in hospitality, events, leisure or a fast paced consumer environment
- Strong social media management experience, particularly Instagram led brands
- The ability to shoot and edit short form video content yourself
- Experience using editing tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro
- Email marketing campaign experience
- Website management or eCommerce platform experience
- Confidence analysing performance data and adapting campaigns accordingly
- A proactive, sleeves rolled up mindset suited to a reactive culture
- Passionate about food, drink and live events
Benefits
You’ll be joining a small, ambitious team at an exciting stage of growth, with genuine autonomy to shape how the brand is seen. The environment is energetic, creative and social, and you’ll see a direct link between your work and sold out events. There is flexibility built in around event attendance with time off in lieu, but this is a role where you’ll want to be on site, and in amongst the activity. There’s hybrid working on offer with 1 day from home, and the salary is circa £36k-£40k.
Sound Good?
We’re managing this on an exclusive basis and expect strong interest. If you’re a content driven marketer who wants to build campaigns, capture moments and see your work translate directly into packed out events, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now or contact Ewan for more information.
