The Role

Digital Tonic are working with a professional services organisation, as they look to hire a new Marketing and Business Development Executive to join their collaborative and friendly team in Bath.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 18 months to 2 years of experience in business development or marketing, ideally within a professional services environment, who’s ready to step into a broader, more varied role.

You’ll be supporting a wide range of BD activity across multiple divisions and offices—everything from helping the team spot opportunities for cross-selling, through to managing proposals, campaigns and client reporting. You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing & BD, supporting the delivery of business development plans and bringing structure and energy to key firm-wide initiatives. This is a brilliant role for someone who’s organised, analytical and comfortable speaking to stakeholders at all levels. It’s a great blend of strategy, reporting, relationship-building and hands-on campaign support.

Skills and Experience

• Around 18 months to 2 years’ experience in a BD or marketing role, ideally in a professional services setting

• Strong organisational skills and a confident communicator

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel

• Experience with CRM systems and email marketing tools

• Great attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills

• Experience supporting pitches, proposals or personalised BD content

• A team player who’s proactive, approachable and comfortable working at pace

• Any knowledge of InDesign or campaign reporting would be a nice extra!
