The Role
We’re working with a well-established and highly respected healthcare provider, to recruit a Head of Marketing to join their senior leadership team at their Swindon head office.
A leading UK provider of healthcare, with revenues of £43m and a workforce of around 300 people, the business is on an exciting journey with a clear ambition to become the most admired healthcare brand in their field, in the UK.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on direct marketing and marketing operations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring patient demand consistently matches or exceeds clinician capacity, while keeping acquisition and retention activity tightly controlled within budget.
Working closely with the Senior Account Manager, Digital Marketing Executive, Customer Retention and Relationship Manager and in-house design team, you’ll lead the day-to-day marketing operation and deliver cohesive, effective campaigns across direct, digital and customer channels. Day to day, you’ll take ownership of direct marketing activity, managing campaigns end to end and liaising with data suppliers, print partners and Royal Mail to ensure timely and accurate delivery. You’ll oversee digital marketing campaigns in partnership with external agencies, as well as telesales, email and SMS activity to the existing customer base.
You’ll also play a key role in shaping and delivering the wider marketing strategy alongside senior leadership, managing the marketing technology stack, coordinating activity across customer service, scheduling, IT and field teams, and ensuring clear communication and alignment across the business.

Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in a senior marketing operations or marketing leadership role, with a strong background in direct marketing
- Proven experience developing, managing and optimising multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Highly organised with a disciplined, rigorous approach and excellent project management skills
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to use insight to drive performance improvements
- Experience working with data suppliers, print vendors and fulfilment partners for direct marketing campaigns
- Confident managing budgets, forecasting spend and allocating resources effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Proven people management experience, leading and developing high performing teams
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, evolving environment and balancing multiple priorities
