Are you someone who enjoys turning website traffic into real revenue? Do you spot quick wins in underperforming eCommerce journeys? Keen to take full ownership of a digital function and genuinely make an impact?
We’re working with a fast-growing, ambitious UK manufacturer and supplier in the construction materials space. They’ve quickly scaled into a nationwide supplier of industrial products and solutions, serving both trade and DIY customers across the UK.
With around 25% of revenue already coming from online, they’ve built strong digital foundations, including c.80,000 monthly website visitors. They are now investing heavily in digital to unlock the next phase of growth, including the launch of a brand-new website.
The Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of eCommerce performance and play a key part in scaling the online channel.
You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment, with a new website launch underway. The focus will be on improving conversion rates (currently c.0.25%, with a target of 0.6%), optimising the customer journey, and using data to continuously improve performance across the site. This includes product pages, UX, content, and on-site merchandising.
Alongside this, you’ll review and optimise a £50k/month paid media spend and help build a stronger organic channel, with SEO currently a major opportunity area.
As performance improves, there is clear scope to build out additional digital resource and shape the wider strategy.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone who is confident owning eCommerce performance and enjoys working in a hands-on environment.
- Experience in an eCommerce or digital marketing role, ideally within a product-led or DTC business
- Strong understanding of CRO and website optimisation
- Experience working with platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, or similar
- Solid knowledge of SEO (technical and on-page)
- Comfortable analysing data and turning insight into action
- Experience managing or working with paid media agencies (ROAS, CPA, etc.)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to react to trading performance
- Proactive, hands-on approach
