The Role

Digital Tonic are working with a marketing leading B2C business in Central Bath as they look to hire a Content Marketing Executive. This is an incredibly exciting time for the business as they look to develop new products and services to take to market, and to continue their strong period of growth.

The role is offered on a hybrid or practically fully remote basis; ideally you would come into the office once a week, but if you’re further away this could be just once a month.

This is a vital role within the marketing team working closely with the Website Marketing Executive. You will write a variety of engaging content, ensuring it is SEO optimised to attract relevant traffic to the site. Being within the financial sector you will review existing content to ensure it’s still relevant and in line with the correct tone of voice. 

You will collaborate with the Brand and Content Manager on the long term content strategy. Pulling together ideas of how content can coincide across multiple platforms. Working with the external agencies you will write engaging paid advertisement copy, providing brand tone of voice where necessary.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a copywriting heavy content role 
• A solid understanding of content SEO principles 
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills
• Understanding of the wider digital channels including social media and PPC
• A working knowledge of the financial industry is desirable
