The Role

We’re working with a manufacturing organisation as they look to grow their UK sales team with a Business Development Manager focused on the Healthcare sector.

Covering the South Central & South East region, you’ll take ownership of a patch with huge potential, managing existing accounts and building new relationships with contractors, local authorities, housing associations, and more. Your goal? To win specifications, drive sales, and grow market share.

You’ll be the face of the business in your region, focussing on developing strategic account plans, delivering impactful presentations, and ensuring a smooth handover from quote to contract. This is a consultative sales role, where you’ll blend commercial know-how with relationship-building to influence key decision-makers and drive long-term growth.

Working closely with the National Sales Manager and internal teams to track performance, respond to leads, and bring the brand’s Healthcare offering to life in a competitive, fast-moving sector. Travel is part of the package as you build a strong presence across the region.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven track record in field-based B2B sales, ideally within specification, KBB, or building products

  • Experience selling into the public sector, especially healthcare or local authorities, is a plus

  • Strong appointment-setting and pipeline management skills

  • Confident communicator and presenter, with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools

  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own region and diary

There’s a salary on offer of £45k depending on experience, plus a bonus of up to 40%, company car, and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare.
