The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading communications agency, known for delivering high-impact campaigns across sectors including low carbon, renewables, transport, education, housing, and sustainable development. This is a varied, strategic role where you’ll be leading projects, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior team members – all while playing a key part in delivering meaningful and measurable results.
You’ll be joining a collaborative and award-winning team, taking ownership of communication and consultation strategies that align with client goals. From leading campaigns and presenting to stakeholders, to managing events and contributing to new business, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact across a range of purpose-driven sectors.

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a communications, PR, or stakeholder engagement role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confident presenting to clients and stakeholders, with strong consultation and negotiation abilities

Strong understanding of local and national politics, planning regimes, and public sector structures

Experience managing projects from end to end, including events and campaigns

Skilled in leading teams and mentoring junior colleagues

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask

Business-minded with a commercial approach to budgets, reporting, and delivery

A proactive, persuasive attitude with confidence managing client relationships

Bonus points for experience in crisis communications or new business development
