The Role

Working closely with the COO and partnering across Design, Marketing, Merchandising, Wholesale and Production, you’ll take strategic and commercial ownership of the buying function, translating brand vision into a cohesive, profitable product range.

This role is ideal for a commercially driven Senior Buying Manager who combines strategic thinking with strong trading instincts, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident leading the end-to-end buying process while building strong cross-functional and supplier relationships.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in fashion buying, ideally within premium, aspirational or luxury brands

  • Strong end-to-end buying experience, from strategy and range planning through to sourcing, negotiation, order placement and in-season trading

  • Demonstrated ability to turn brand and product strategy into clear, commercially focused buying plans

  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence using data, insights and Excel to guide decision-making, sales planning and margin optimisation

  • Experience managing multiple product categories with varied lead times in a fast-growing environment

  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience building and managing global supplier relationships

  • Confidence collaborating cross-functionally with Design, Production, Merchandising, Marketing and Wholesale teams to deliver cohesive collections

  • Experience trading the range in season, managing replenishment, stock packages, sell-through and margin protection

  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting trading updates and product performance to senior stakeholders

  • Leadership capability, with experience supporting and developing junior team members

  • A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset; experience with PLM systems, sustainability and ethical sourcing principles is a bonus
