Swansea Hybrid Full time, Permanent

Circa. £32,000

We’re working with an established and hugely successful tourism brand in Swansea as they look to recruit an Email Marketing Executive on a permanent basis. This is a brand new role that is a result of continued growth and expansion.

The Role

As their Email Marketing Executive, you’ll take full ownership of the email channel and help them elevate it to the next level. You’ll play a central role in driving engagement, customer retention, and revenue through smarter targeting, stronger creative, and more personalised journeys.

Working closely within the digital and creative teams, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering the email marketing strategy, analysing campaign performance, and continuously optimising for results. This is a great opportunity to make your mark in a business where email is a vital revenue driver.

We’re looking for bright people who like to bring new ideas to the table. In return, you’ll be fully-supported by an ambitious business that welcomes creativity and innovation.

This is a varied role where you will own the end-to-end delivery of email marketing campaigns- from planning and segmentation to content, testing and reporting, as well as developing automated and personalised email journeys to improve customer engagement and conversion. In addition, you will work with the wider marketing team to align email with broader campaign activity, promotions, and seasonal pushes, and manage and grow the subscriber database, ensuring best-in-class data hygiene and GDPR compliance. You’ll analyse campaign results and report on key metrics such as open rate, CTR, conversion and revenue impact, suggesting and testing new approaches to segmentation, subject lines, creative, and timing to drive continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience delivering successful email marketing campaigns in a B2C environment (ideally travel, leisure or retail)
  • Hands-on experience with an email marketing platform (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Dotdigital, Salesforce, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and automated customer journeys
  • Strong analytical skills — confident interpreting campaign results and making data-driven decisions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of GDPR and email marketing best practice

Benefits

Depending on experience, there is a salary on offer of up to £32k. For a superstar, we can look at more. This is a hybrid role with a flexible attitude to days a week in the office, depending on your individual circumstances.
