The Role
As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for developing engaging content that supports all stages of the customer journey. From blog posts and whitepapers to case studies and social media content, you’ll craft materials that simplify complex topics and make them accessible to industry professionals. You’ll work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to produce impactful content that aligns with the company’s objectives and drives brand engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing high-quality, engaging content in various formats, such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, infographics, and social media posts.
- Tailoring content to different stages of the customer journey, from awareness to decision-making.
- Writing persuasive copy that aligns with the brand’s voice and engages target B2B audiences.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of content in the financial technology space.
- Creating content for digital campaigns, including email marketing, landing pages, and online ads.
- Collaborating with the marketing team and external designers to create engaging content for social media platforms.
- Optimising content for SEO to increase visibility and traffic.
- Assisting in the creation of press releases, thought leadership articles, and award submissions.
- Working with the sales team to develop compelling RFPs, proposals, and sales collateral such as brochures and presentations.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional writing skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and SEO best practices.
- Proven experience in creating content for digital campaigns, including social media and digital advertising.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information into engaging, accessible formats.
- Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well across teams.
- Proactive self-starter, capable of managing projects from start to finish.
- Experience in financial services or technology is a plus.
Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from £60,000 to £70,000, with a discretionary bonus of 5%. You will also receive private healthcare coverage, including dental, optics, and outpatient care through WPA. Pension. In addition, the company provides 4x life insurance coverage, 25 days of holiday, plus one additional Christmas holiday, with the option to purchase up to 5 additional days.
