Are you passionate about venues and travel, with a knack for finding the perfect spot for every occasion? We’re seeking an experienced Events Venue Sourcing Executive to join a fast-paced, growing venue-finding team in the West Midlands.

You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering world-class event experiences for clients by sourcing venues that align with their needs and budgets. If you thrive in a busy environment, have a keen eye for detail, and excel in building relationships, this is the role for you!

The Role

As an Events Venue Sourcing Executive, you’ll:

  • Understand client briefs: Listen intently to client requirements and propose venues that perfectly match their needs and style.
  • Source venues: Research UK and international venues and destinations that align with client briefs.
  • Negotiate effectively: Secure competitive rates and commission terms with venues to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Deliver polished proposals: Create creative and detailed proposals within service-level agreements, showcasing researched and accurate information.
  • Liaise with clients and venues: Attend client site visits, maintain clear communication, and establish strong relationships with clients and venue representatives.
  • Expand knowledge: Continuously enhance your understanding of venues, destinations, and the events industry.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Previous experience in venue finding, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to use initiative.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • A collaborative attitude, along with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • A full driving license and access to a car (due to the rural office location).

Benefits

  • Work with a dynamic, industry-leading team.
  • Opportunities to expand your venue and destination knowledge.
  • Join a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Competitive financial targets and incentives.
